I made it to 20 weeks this past Monday. Things are going well…I think. I feel pretty good, getting larger and just started feeling the babies moving around this week. There’s lots of movement on the right side (where the boy supposedly is) but I don’t feel much on the left side. i hope our girl is ok. Not much to update on really. We are having another scan this coming Monday to check anatomy. Here’s the latest baby gut.

awwwwww, you are so cute! not too big even though there’s two in there, but not too small either, just right! maybe the boy is smooshing the girl so her movements are a little more restricted, but i bet she’s just fine!!
That oven certainly looks to be bakin’ them well…
I don’t want to frighten you at this early stage, but when my wife J had our twins at 38+4, she looked like a space hopper with legs. She actually had a proper ledge that you could stand a pint glass on. She looks back know and goes weak at the knees.
Don’t worry about one moving more than the other. We worried about it too, but despite being twins they’ll grow at their own rates and do their own thing. Our son was quiet for most of the first half of the pregnancy, lying below our daughter. He made up for it in the second half by repeatedly and persistently kicking my wife’s..erm..lady bits.
Interestingly, all our scans pitched them at the same weight, but when they finally came out the sunroof Oliver was 5lb 7oz and our daughter Ella was 6lb 12oz! And even now they’re growing, and developing at such different rates.
So don’t worry – they’ll sort themselves out.
[Just as an aside, when my wife was worried about whether or not the twins were getting enough nutrients whilst she struggled through her horrendous morning/all day sickness, she was consistently told (and offended) by the consultants that the babies would be fine, because essentially, they were...parasites. Such a nice vision to put into your head of your babies...
It's true though - they'll sort themselves out - you just concentrate on making sure you're happy and content. Can't wait for updates!]
